A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
A little
more clarity.
About your outfits. And about Wear This.
What does Wear This do?
Wear This compares two outfit photos against your occasion and preferred style. It offers a clear pick, a reason and one suggested adjustment. It evaluates visible clothes, not your body.
Can I try it before uploading photos?
Yes. The dressing room includes two clearly labeled example scenarios, each with AI-generated photos and a prepared recommendation. Viewing either example does not use a comparison credit.
Do I need to catalog my wardrobe?
No. Choose the two outfits you are considering right now. There is no wardrobe catalog to build before you can compare them.
What should I include in my outfit photos?
You can wear the outfit, lay it out, or show an individual garment or pair of shoes. Use clear, similar light for both options. Item-only photos cannot show worn fit. Only upload photos you have permission to share.
What should I write in the comparison brief?
Include the occasion, the feel you want and a practical detail that affects the choice, such as a stated dress code or a long walk. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Can I speak my plans instead of typing?
Where browser speech recognition is supported, choose Tell us the plan. Your words appear as you speak; four seconds of quiet or the finish button ends the note. Sessions are limited to 45 seconds and 400 characters. Review or edit the text, then choose Use this plan. Your browser’s speech service processes audio; Wear This receives only text. Nothing is submitted for outfit analysis until you choose to compare. You can always type instead.
Can I compare two pairs of shoes?
Yes. Keep the rest of the outfit the same and photograph the full look with each pair. Tell Wear This about the occasion. Judge comfort yourself; a photograph cannot measure it.
Does Wear This save my photos?
Photos are not saved by Wear This unless you choose Keep photos. Your written decision is saved privately to your signed-in account. Photos are sent to the AI provider for analysis; see the in-app privacy information for details.
How much does a comparison cost?
Your first completed comparison is free. An available comparison pack costs $4.99 USD for 20 comparisons, as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription. Early-access capacity and daily limits apply.
What happens if the analysis fails?
An unsuccessful analysis or a request to retake the photos does not use a comparison credit. The attempt still counts toward safety and daily usage limits.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and use the six-digit code sent to your inbox. The code expires after ten minutes. You do not need a ChatGPT account to use email sign-in.
Can I delete a saved decision?
Yes. Open Saved decisions to delete a decision and any photos saved with it. Minimal payment and usage records remain to enforce credits and prevent abuse.
Is the recommendation a dress-code guarantee?
No. Wear This works from the photographs and context you provide. Follow instructions from your host, venue or workplace, and use your own judgment about comfort and suitability.
